Kesha encourages the “MeToo Movement” in Grammy Awards

While Grammy Awards 2018 was a night filled with wonderful performances by the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, it was the pop singer Kesha who touched the most hearts with her stirring performance. Singing her hit-single Praying to the numerous celebrities in attendance dressed in all-white, Kesha openly showed support to the “MeToo Movement” which she sternly believes in. Through her song she referenced the horrible experience of being a victim of sexual assault, and intended to encourage other women in the industry to move forward and share their experience as well. It has been known for a long time that Kesha's former producer Dr. Luke was alleged to be a sexual offender, though no official confirmation has been made yet. Fans called Kesha “fearless” for this brave approach, and her message was well-received by the women present.
