Children's story book 'The Moon Jumping' unveiled

Young and soon-to-be bookworms are in for a treat with Sabrina Karim Murshed's debut book, 'The Moon Jumping'.

The story revolves around Sammy, who does not believe that cows can jump over the moon and Moo, a cool Bermuda shorts wearing, shade toting bull who wants to do a hat trick in Moon Jumping at the Cowrnival. But all is not that easy in this side of the story-verse as Sammy and Moo will make friends and meet foes. This is a tale that will take the young readers for a joyride into a unique imaginary world and teach the importance of friendship and difference between right and wrong.

The author, Sabrina Karim Murshed, is a creative writing facilitator for children. She began her career as a mainstream journalist and switched to the field of development where she worked in child rights sector. A postgraduate in English from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, Sabrina loved to write from a tender age.

Her debut work for children, 'The Moon Jumping' was unveiled at the VIP Lounge of the National Press Club in Dhaka on December 28, 2017.
