4 killed in Gopalganj road crash

At least four people were killed and 25 others injured after two buses collided head-on in Moksedpur upazila of Gopalganj today.

The two buses, a BRTC and a Golden Line bus, collided on Dhaka-Barisal highway in Chhagolchira area around 2:00 pm, reports our Faridpur correspondent quoting police.

The deceased were identified as Monoj Kumar Roy, 45, Munni Akhter, 18, Kauser Akond, 15, and the BRTC bus driver Abul Shikder, 50, said Ezajul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Station.

The injured were being treated at Faridpur Medical College Hospital and Razor Upazila Heath Complex.
