Samsung Galaxy A8+ most anticipated phone of 2018

People all over the world are really enthusiastic about the arrival of one of the most anticipated Phones of 2018, Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus.

The smartphone's highlights are its Infinity Display with Super AMOLED tech, 6GB of RAM, IP68 dust and water resistance, the Always On screen ambient display, Samsung Pay support, Bixby support, as well as dual front cameras, reports NDTV.

Samsung Galaxy A8+ specifications

This dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy A8+ runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and sports a 6-inch FHD+ (1080x2220 pixels) Super AMOLED display in 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

It is powered by the Samsung Exynos 7885 octa-core SoC, with two cores clocked at a 2.2GHz and six cores clocked at 1.6GHz. It features 6GB of RAM.

The dual front camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy A8+ includes a 16-megapixel fixed focus, f/1.9 image sensor and an 8-megapixel f/1.9 sensor. Both the sensors enable the Galaxy A8+  to provide blurred background in images with a Bokeh effect. Users can also switch the preloaded camera app to have a clear and crisp background as well as a focused foreground. The smartphones have a Live Focus feature to adjust the Bokeh effect while capturing self-portraits. It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor on the back with an f/1.7 lens.

The Samsung Galaxy A8+ sports 64GB of onboard storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). In terms of connectivity, there are options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. It is powered by a 3500mAh battery, measure 159.9x75.7x8.3, and weighs 191 grams.
