US-Bangla Airlines today said it will bear the medical cost of the victims who survived the plane crash at Tribhuban International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, yesterday.
Kamrul Islam, managing director of public relations of the airlines, gave the statement to the reporters in Dhaka’s Baridhara this morning, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
US-Bangla is sincere in compensating to the dead victims and survivors suffering injuries during the plane crash, Prothom Alo reports quoting Kamrul Islam.
An accident can occur at anytime, anywhere. All things cannot end due to an accident, said Kamrul. US-Bangla operated successfully more than 36,000 flights in last three years, he said.
While talking to reporters, he informed that flight operation on other routes of the carrier remained normal. Regular flights also departed for Kathmandu this morning. A flight carrying family members and relatives also departed for Nepal and reached there this morning.
At least 49 people, including 26 Bangladeshis, were killed when an US-Bangla flight from Dhaka crashed in Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport yesterday.
