8 BGB men sued

Eight members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been sued on charge of torturing a cattle trader to death in Boda upazila of Panchagarh on Friday night. 

Victim's wife Momena Khatun filed the case with Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court yesterday, accusing eight BGB men of Barashashi BGB camp, including camp commander Lutfar Rahman. 

Judge Tariqul Kabir will give order on November 5 in this connection after examining UD case records filed with Boda Police Station and inquest and postmortem reports of the case, court sources said.  

Family members said BGB tortured Majom Ali, 40, son of Mansur Ali of Nurpara village, to death.
