Foreign ministry, NSU sign MoU

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and North South University (NSU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sunday to cooperate in developing collaborative educational programmes on a not-for-profit basis.

Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque and Vice Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam signed the understanding on behalf of the respective sides at the ministry in the capital.

As per the MoU, the parties will cooperate with each other and undertake different activities to enhance the promotion of knowledge and skills necessary for sustainable development as well as international politics, business and relations.

Chairman of the university's Board of Trustees Md Shajahan and Director General (West Europe and European Union) of the foreign ministry Mohammad Khorshed Alam Khastagir were present, among others, at the ceremony, said a press release.
